Country has become one of the most diverse music genres of the modern day. It’s not just about good ol’ boys, cowgirls, beer and trucks anymore. Hip-hop, R and B, pop and other influences are blending with country and becoming more accepted. In turn, this has attracted new listeners and created a space for voices that don’t fit the mould of traditional country.
Kane Brown is an innovator in breaking the country mould. Originally rising to fame through social media, Brown has carved out his own fanbase and style. This same uniqueness translates into his wardrobe and for this edition of Country Fit Check, let’s find out how you can get the Kane Brown fashion look.
Kane Brown’s fashion style
Brown’s general aesthetic might be described as a low-key streetwear style that blends country motifs. It’s contemporary street wear meets classic country. His style incorporates fitted denim and tees, high-end trainers and statement cowboy boots when the song and mood calls for it. Brown also mixes texture layers of denim, leather and knit with simple but noticeable accessories of rings, bracelets and pendants.
Shirts, Hoodies, Jackets & Tank Tops
Brown admits that he brings lots of tank tops and undershirts with him on tour because of his tendency to sign them on stage and throw them out to the audience. They may range from white to black as a reflection of his simplistic style.
For shirts and hoodies, he favours the casual and comfortable. This has led Brown to start his own clothing line with rue21. According to him, “I came up not really having any money to spend on clothes. I had enough that I could afford rue21 and their clothes were cool.”
Brown also has a partnership with Coleman, a brand known for its outdoorsy gear that matches his work hard/play hard persona. While there aren’t any official clothing collaborations with Coleman yet, it’s possible that there will be limited-edition products made in the future.

“Hey, I like the snakeskin, I like them Buckaroos. I like my leather shined up with a shade of blue. I like the black cherry alligator pointed toe. I wear ’em out ’til there’s holes on the outsole. They go with everything, I take ’em everywhere…Damn, I probably don’t need no more, but the second I walk through the door, I tell ’em give me two pairs of Luccheses, all-white shirt and some bootcut jeans.”
So Brown announces in the catchy opening and chorus of his song 2 Pair. He’s a man with an appreciation of high-quality footwear that ranges from the ruggedness of Lucchese cowboy boots to the clean fit of Nike Airs. He’s even had custom Jordans made by B Street Shoes that features the names of his wife and children, the number three and the tattoo he has on his neck.
